An astronaut is someone trained to participate in space studies. Due to the rarity of human-crewed space flights, some of the space people who were trained could not take a space mission by remaining in the reserve staff. In contrast, space tourists can be called space people, as they have received the necessary training.
If you are going to space one day, perhaps the most important thing you will take with you is a spacesuit. Spacesuits are like small spacecraft and protect astronauts from dangers in space. The oxygen tubes in the part of the spacesuit, which is seen as a backpack and called the Primary Life Support System, not only provide oxygen to the astronauts during their spacewalks but also collect the carbon dioxide molecules that will form inside.
As you can imagine, not every astronaut's physical build is the same. Some astronauts may be tall, some short, some a little thinner or overweight. That's why there are three sizes of spacesuits (small, medium, and large) that astronauts use on the International Space Station. Since the connection points of these space suits are the same, an astronaut can also make a unique combination from these three different bodies.
The temperature in the space environment is unfortunately too high or low for the human body to withstand. For example, if an astronaut going out on a spacewalk in space, where the Sun shines brightly (generally without being affected by the Earth's atmosphere), comes out of the spacecraft without a spacesuit, he will suddenly encounter a temperature of about 120 degrees Celsius, with the effect of radiation.
In the absence of the Sun (when the astronauts come to Earth's shadow), the temperature drops to about -120 degrees Celsius. This happens very, very suddenly since there is no atmosphere in space. The only thing keeping the astronaut safe in these harsh conditions is the spacesuit. The passage of water provided through special channels in the spacesuit, which resembles the vein structure, helps to balance the body temperature of the astronaut.
In addition to temperature differences, the astronaut must wear a spacesuit to be protected from pressure, radiation, and meteor dust.
