About Chevrolet Camaro Wallpapers

The Chevrolet Camaro is a mid-size car manufactured by the American automobile company Chevrolet, which can be described as a pony car and, in some versions, a muscle car. It first went on sale for the 1967 model year on September 29, 1966, and was planned as a competitor to the Ford Mustang. The Camaro shared its platform and main components with the Pontiac Firebird, introduced in 1967.

Four different generations of the Camaro were advanced before production ended in 2002. The model name was revived in a concept car that evolved into the fifth-generation Camaro; More than 5 million have been produced, with production continuing since March 16, 2009.

The first-generation offered standard, SuperSport, and Rally Sport versions. The 1967 Z/28 model features stripes on the hood and trunk, rally road wheels style, and with a 302 cubic inch (4.9 L) V8 motor. In the Rally Sport version, it was more the style of the car itself. Concealed headlights are fitted with wing windows and a more rounded rear fender. When they were introduced the year 1968, they introduced the use of side marker lamps. The 1968 Camaro removed the vent windows in the doors that were standard on the 1967 model.

Initiated in February 1970, the second-generation Camaro was produced throughout the 1981 model year, with cosmetic changes made for the 1974 and 1978 model years. The car has been heavily redesigned and has become slightly more extensive and broader with the new styling. Still depending on the F-body platform, the new Camaro was like its predecessor, with unibody construction, front of the subframe, A-arm front suspension, and leaf springs to control the solid rear axle.

The third-generation Camaro was manufactured from 1981 (for the 1982 model year) to 1992. These are the first Camaros to come with modern fuel injection, Turbo-Hydramatic 700R4 four-speed automatic transmissions, five-speed manual transmissions, 14.15 or 16-inch wheels, standard OHV 4-cylinder engine, and hatchback body type.

The fourth-generation Camaro was released in 1993 on an updated F-body platform. It has retained the same features since its introduction in 1967: a coupé body style with 2+2 seats (with optional T-top roof) or convertible (reintroduced in 1994), with rear-wheel drive, push 6-cylinder and V8 engine.
