What is a smart app link?
A smart link is one address that sends each visitor to the right app store. Put it on your website, in social media bios, emails, ads and press releases, and print its QR code on posters, flyers, packaging and business cards. You don't need two buttons or two QR codes any more.

How to create one
- Paste your Google Play link (or package name) and your App Store link (or id). One is enough; if your app is on both stores, we try to find the other listing for you.
- Press Create smart link, copy the link and press Test it to check it.
- Download the QR code as PNG for documents and social media, or SVG for print, where it stays sharp at any size.
Does it expire? Is there a click limit?
No and no. The link is made from your store ids (apppage.net/go/com.example.app/id123456789), so there's nothing to store, renew or pay for. It works as long as your apps are in the stores.
Tips for QR codes that scan every time
- Keep the code dark on a light background and leave some white space around it.
- Print it at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 in); bigger for posters seen from a distance.
- Scan the printed proof with both an Android phone and an iPhone before a big print run.
