How to make store screenshots
- Paste your Google Play or App Store link and press Load app: its screenshots become slides and the colours come from its icon. Or upload screenshots you took on a device or simulator.
- Write a short headline for each slide: one benefit per screenshot, in a few words. Reorder slides so the strongest comes first.
- Pick the text position, font, background and frame. Every slide shares the style, so the set looks consistent.
- Tick the sizes you need and press Download ZIP. Each store gets its own folder, numbered in upload order.
Screenshot sizes
| Store | Size (portrait) | How many |
|---|---|---|
| App Store, iPhone 6.9" | 1320 × 2868 (also accepted: 1290 × 2796, 1260 × 2736) | 1–10; scaled down for smaller iPhones |
| App Store, iPad 13" | 2064 × 2752 (also accepted: 2048 × 2732) | 1–10, if the app runs on iPad |
| Google Play, phone | 9:16, at least 1080 × 1920; each side 320–3840 px | 2–8; 4 or more to be featured |
| Google Play, 7" and 10" tablet | 9:16 or 16:9, each side 1080–7680 px | Up to 8 per device type |
Both stores take PNG or JPEG without transparency. Google Play also limits each file to 8 MB.
Tips for screenshots that convert
- Lead with the best one. The first two or three screenshots show in search results; most people decide there.
- One benefit per slide. “Plan your week in seconds” says more than a feature name.
- Keep headlines short. They’re read at thumbnail size: three to six words work best.
- Show the real app. Both stores want screenshots of the app in use, not just artwork.
- No promotional claims on Google Play. Words like “free”, “best”, “#1”, prices or “download now” aren’t allowed in store graphics; the tool warns you about them.
Are my screenshots private?
Yes. Everything is drawn in your browser and files you upload stay on your device. When you load an app, its store screenshots pass through AppPage.net only so the browser can draw them.
