About Peacock Wallpapers

The peacock is the name given to two species of birds in the genus Pavo in the pheasant family (Phasianidae). During courtship, the male peacock is known for its unfolded tails. The female peacock has a bright green neck and a brown or gray-toned body. Despite the majesty of the male peacock's tail, his voice is not pleasant to the ear. The blue peacock lives in the lower reaches of India. The peacock is shown as the national bird of India.

The green peacock lives in the region from eastern Myanmar to Java. The green peacock is listed as endangered by the World Conservation Union. This is due to hunting and the deterioration of the geography they live in.

Three species of peacocks are known: the blue peacock (Pavo cristatus) living in India, and the Javanese peacock (Afropavo congensis), found on islands near India. The blue peacock has been domesticated for centuries, and the male's tail, up to 1.50 m long, consists of very elongated back feathers. Congo peacock, found in 1936, lives in tropical forests. They all feed on the ground and roost in trees at night. It feeds on omnivores, attacking snakes or running after butterflies if it gets a chance. Before mating, the male peacock courts the female, but it happens that he does the same show in front of another man. Peacocks are sought after for their feathers, but their meat is also appreciated: peacock in imperial times; It adorned the table of the wealthy Romans.

The peacock is the symbol of the goddess Hera in Ancient Greece. When the many-eyed giant Argos serving the goddess is killed by Hermes, the goddess sprinkles the giant's eyes on the peacock's tail. The peacock is the symbol of the Angel-God, who was created by God Azda in the Yazidi belief and was given the task of creating the universe and people. The peacock is identified with good concepts such as abundance, happiness, and prosperity in the Islamic faith.
