About Fuyo Wall: Japan Part-Time Pay

This is not a subscription. It's a one-time purchase, and only a second job is a paid add-on.

No sign-up. No ads. No surveys. No subscription. Enter the "gross pay" line from your payslip once a month, and see how much more you can earn before the next limit (扶養 / fuyō) — Japan's dependent-status and tax thresholds.

Two separate measures, shown side by side
- Tax limits (income tax, spousal deduction, special spousal deduction, working-student deduction, the 19–22 dependent deduction) — your running total of pay received Jan–Dec
- Social-insurance dependent status — the annual income estimated from your contract (matches the rule used from April 2026)
- Your employer's social-insurance enrollment condition (updated for the October 2026 removal of the wage requirement — shows the weekly-hours and company-size conditions instead)

Light on data entry
- Enter gross pay, the tax-free commuting allowance, and any bonus — once a month, per employer
- A one-off gig (day-rate work) is just a date and an amount
- Nothing is estimated from a shift schedule, so you won't see pay show up for a day you didn't work

What each limit tells you
- The amount and when it applies
- Its source (a primary document from Japan's National Tax Agency or Japan Pension Service)
- Your current running total and how much is left before that limit, nearest first
- A monthly pace — the remaining amount divided by the months left in the year

Always shows which year's rules and when they were checked
- Home and Settings always show "2026 rules, checked [date]"
- If a new year's rules haven't been added yet, a yellow banner tells you so

Free to use
- Every limit's meter, explanation, and source
- One employer, plus one-off gigs, and this year's records
- The contract-based estimate used for the dependent-status check
- A payday reminder and limit-approach alerts
- Export and import (useful when you switch phones)
- The one-time purchase unlocks a second (or later) employer, a month-by-month spending plan for the rest of the year, and past years' records

Your data stays yours
- This app never communicates over the network — your pay figures never leave your device
- Export and import your records anytime
- Delete everything with one tap

Important: every figure shown is an estimate — a comparison between published threshold amounts and the numbers you entered. How tax and social insurance actually apply depends on your income details, your family situation, and your employment contract. For an exact answer, check with your employer, your health-insurance provider, your tax office, or your municipal office. This app does not provide tax or social-insurance advice.
