About Ear Drill: Intervals & Chords

No background music. No account. Nothing leaves your device.

Listen to two notes or a chord, then tap what you heard. A round is ten questions and takes about a minute. The questions you miss come back more often, so your practice goes where you need it.

■ Four courses
・Intervals: hear two notes and name the distance, going up, going down, or played together
・Chords: major, minor, diminished and augmented (plus seventh chords with the one-time unlock)
・Scale degrees (movable do): a short chord sets the key, then you name the note by its place in the scale
・Melody dictation: write down 3 to 5 notes you heard (one-time unlock)

■ Daily one-minute drill
Ten questions, about 70 percent from your weak spots and the rest mixed review. One tap from the home screen.

■ Weak-spot chart
A colored table shows which intervals and chords you miss most. Tap a cell to practice only that combination.

■ Results and records
After each round, replay the notes you missed and see them on a keyboard. The records tab lists every round; sort by date or accuracy, filter by course, and delete any entry.

■ Sing it back (pitch check with the microphone)
Hear two notes, then sing them back. The microphone listens to the pitch of your voice and shows how closely it matches the target. You can also sing a scale and follow your accuracy over time in a line chart. The microphone is used only in the Sing tab, and the listen-and-tap practice works without it.

■ Settings
・Note names: Do Re Mi, C D E, or numbers (each language starts with its usual style)
・Reference pitch A=440 or 442, note range (low, middle, high) and note length
・Sound effects, haptics and text size (3 steps)
・9 languages: English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese

■ Everything stays on your device
・No account, no ads, no network use by the app itself (purchases are handled by the store)
・The microphone is used only when you sing. Your voice is analyzed on the device as you sing; it is never saved or sent anywhere
・Your records are stored only on the device. Export them as text and import them later, for example when you change phones. Export and import are always free.

■ What is free
・All interval questions (up, down, together)
・Four chord types (major, minor, diminished, augmented) and the first three levels of scale degrees
・The daily one-minute drill and the weak-spot chart
・All settings, export and import

■ One-time unlock
A single one-time purchase (no subscription, nothing renews) opens: seventh chords, melody dictation, scale degree levels 4 and up (half steps, two notes at once), and building your own mix of questions.

This app shows your practice results. It does not measure musical ability or give any medical assessment.
