Furusato Tax: Limit & Donation

Independent study app. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (総務省) or any government agency. Official information: https://www.soumu.go.jp/main_sosiki/jichi_zeisei/czaisei/czaisei_seido/furusato/mechanism/deduction.html

This app is designed specifically for Japan's "furusato nozei" (hometown tax donation) system —
a Japanese tax deduction program. It is not useful outside Japan's tax system.

See roughly how much more you can donate this year, and keep every donation's record — where,
how much, and which paperwork is done — in one place. If you donate through several furusato
nozei sites, this app adds them all up so you always know your running total and rough remaining
room.

**Free, forever:**
- Donation limit estimate (both Quick and Detailed modes)
- This year's donation ledger (unlimited entries), total, and remaining estimate
- Municipality count and paperwork checklist (gift arrived / receipt arrived / one-stop form sent)
- Reminders for the year-end cutoff, the one-stop exemption form, and your resident-tax notice
- Backup export/import (JSON) and full data deletion
- Optional app lock

**One-time purchase unlocks:**
- Viewing ledgers from any past year (free: this year and last year)
- Exporting a tax-return-ready list (destination, date, amount, receipt status)

**No sign-up. No ads. No tracking.** The app doesn't connect to the internet at all — everything
happens on your device. There is no gift-catalog browsing, ranking, or outbound link to any
donation site. You can track your full donation limit and ledger without ever creating an account
or logging in.

The amount shown is an estimate based on a formula published by Japan's Ministry of Internal
Affairs and Communications. Your actual deduction depends on other deductions (such as a mortgage
or medical-expense deduction) and the details of your income. For an exact figure, please check
with your local municipal office, tax office, or a licensed tax accountant. This app does not
provide tax advice.

Available in English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese,
and Portuguese for the app's own screens and buttons — the subject matter (Japan's donation tax
system) stays the same across every language, since it is specific to Japan.
