About Sutekatsu-cho: Declutter Log

Even after you declutter, it is easy to forget what you let go of. Sutekatsu-cho is a quiet notebook for saying thank you to a thing, and letting it go. Keep a record of your decluttering and tidying, one item at a time.

WHO IT IS FOR
- You started decluttering but cannot tell whether it is going anywhere
- You want to look back on what you have let go of
- You feel torn about throwing things away and want to close it with a "thank you"
- You are heading toward minimalism or simple living, one item at a time
- You want a record that is only yours

ONLY WHAT YOU HAVE LET GO
- Record each thing you part with, as a photo or as a line of writing
- This is not an inventory of what you own. Nothing is added; the record of what left builds up instead
- It is not a social feed. It is yours, and quiet
- Adding an entry takes a few seconds, so you can do it between tidying tasks

A GENTLE DESIGN
- Nothing here says "this would sell well" or "you should throw that away". The pace is yours
- No blame, no hurry
- As the count builds, you can look back over what has gone
- The text size can be changed

EXAMPLE
1. Say thank you to the item you are letting go of
2. Take a photo or write a short line
3. Your records slowly build up
4. Open the app now and then and look back

MADE TO BE SAFE TO USE
- Records and photos are kept inside this device (nothing goes out on its own)
- Anything that leaves the device happens only when you press a button. Linking a Furimatch membership code sends the code and the app name. Opening a listing draft passes the item name and category to your browser. Photos, dates and notes are never sent. Links such as "see the other apps" simply open a page in your browser
- No ads
- There is no auto-renewing subscription

PRICING
- Thirty new records are free (if you have been using the app for a while, it is thirty a month, refreshed the next month)
- Everything already recorded stays visible
- A one-time purchase removes the limit on how many you can record
