Use uMore to:

1. Baseline and assess your current stress level

With uMore, in just minutes, you can see and better understand your current stress score. We use the same questions and scores used by doctors and healthcare practitioners for decades.

So how does it work? Getting started is easy, just fill in a 10-item questionnaire to measure your self-reported level of stress. You do so by assessing feelings and thoughts during the last week. Giving you a clinically validated score, this same score helps you understand if your current stress level is low, moderate or even sever.

2. Track and document your stress

As you self-monitor, one of the most critical aspects of the app are the weekly scores. These same scores are tracked over time, empowering you to understand your stress. We know from science that tracking not only provides you with cognitive closure but also it improves your health as it makes you feel in control of your condition.

3. Share your progress with friends, family or even your doctor

We believe that disclosure is one of the first steps to recovery, and therefore we've build uMore to help you add your loved ones. With uMore, you can choose to share your data with your own "safe circle".

We built the safe circle based on science, as research suggests this contributes to decreases in distress while at the same time improving attitudes to mental health challenges. Our safe circle is based on digitizing social prescriptions, a tool pioneered by the UK's national health service (NHS) linking users to support networks is a cornerstone of social prescribing, suggested to contribute to positive health and wellbeing improvements as well as anxiety and depression.

4. Learn to take control with custom insights and content

We know that giving you just a score is not enough. You need more, you need actionable tools, content and insights. We also understand that mental health is uniquely personal, and that is why we have designed the app to cater to your particular needs.

uMore provides you with evidence-based recommendations, written by our expert medical researchers from proven interventions such as CBT and mindfulness, all designed to improve wellbeing. Our goal is to give you new ways to cope with your mental health and to inspire you with stories from people just like you.
