Ceyizly: Çeyiz List & Budget

Getting a home ready before a wedding is a big job. Ceyizly turns it into one wedding checklist you can actually finish, and shows your progress as a hope chest that fills up.

Çeyiz is the Turkish tradition of both families furnishing the new home together. Ceyizly keeps that list the way people really shop for it: room by room, and bohça by bohça. You don’t have to build the checklist from scratch.

WHAT YOU GET
• 110 items already on the list, sorted into kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, large appliances, small appliances, and home textiles
• Gelin bohçası, Damat bohçası, and Söz bohçası ready to go, plus any bohça you name yourself
• A hope chest that fills up a little with every item you check, with a light tap of feedback
• A home screen widget showing how full the chest is right now

MAKE IT YOUR LIST
Not every home needs every item. Mark anything as “we don’t have this one” and it drops out of the count, so a thing you would never buy can’t keep the chest from filling. Bring it back anytime. The same item can sit in a room and in a bohça at once, just like the tradition.

KEEP AN EYE ON THE BUDGET
Write down what you expect to pay and what you actually paid, and Ceyizly adds it up by room and overall. No separate household budget app needed. Prices are optional, and only the amounts you enter are counted. Nobody is compared, nothing is judged, and if a price goes up you simply edit the estimate.

SHOPPING DAY
Start a shopping trip and only the items you still need show up on one screen. Check them off in the store like a shopping list, and when you get home see everything you picked up that day in one place.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
How much a family spends on çeyiz is nobody else’s business. Your items and amounts stay on your phone. There is no account to create, no server, no access to your photos or location, and no ads.
