About ColorCarte: Hair Formulas

Every colorist keeps formulas somewhere - index cards, a notes app, the back of a foil box. ColorCarte is that record turned into a proper card file: one card per client, and every card remembers the exact mix that worked.

■ The card file
Open the app and you are looking at your cabinet. Each client is a card with their last service date, their average rebooking rhythm, and when they are likely to walk in next. Save a new service and you will see the card physically slide into the file - a small thing, but it makes a hundred-client cabinet feel like yours.

■ Formulas the way you actually write them
A formula here is lines, not paragraphs: brand, shade code, grams. Add developer volume, amount, and processing time. Or skip all of it and jot a free note - a paper karte never forced a format, and neither does this one.

■ Developer math, done for you
Type your color amounts and ColorCarte totals them, then fills in the developer for you at 1:1, 1:1.5, or 1:2 - the standard mixing ratios from the manufacturers' own technical sheets. No more mixing-bowl arithmetic with gloves on.

■ Returning client, two taps
Open their card and the last formula is already on top. Tap "copy last formula", tap save - done. Adjust a shade or a gram count in between if this visit needs it.

■ Before and after, on the record
Attach photos from the chair to any service. Next visit, you are comparing against what actually happened, not what you remember.

■ Your book stays yours
No account, no cloud, no subscription. Client names, notes, and photos live on your phone and nowhere else - the app makes zero network requests. When you want your data out, export a single client's history as a shareable card image, or back up everything to one file you keep wherever you like. Touch-up reminders are optional, and lock-screen notifications show initials only, so a client's name is never on display.

Built for independent stylists, booth renters, and suite colorists who own their client book - and want to keep it that way.
