PCNs are among the many types of nematodes. PCN was first observed in Kenya in 2014 in Nyandarua County (Mwangi et al., 2015). PCN nematodes are very small, slender, eel-shaped, worm-like organisms that are parasitic on or within plant tissues. PCN forms survival structures called cysts.
