Lumos — Torcia Magica

Your phone is no longer a phone. It's a wand.

Say "Lumos" and a spark awakens at the tip. Whisper "Nox" and the night closes its wings. And when the darkness is too thick, call "Lumos Maxima": the wand releases all its light and the screen glows white.

FOUR SPELLS, ONE LIGHT

• Nox — the wand sleeps. Night sky, dormant runes, no light.
• Lumos — the LED lights up. A warm, steady light, like every day.
• Lumos Maxima — LED on full, white screen, and maximum brightness. All the light a phone can provide.
• Periculum — the LED flashes in Morse code. A magical name for the most serious thing a flashlight can do: get you found.

VOICE COMMANDS
Are your hands full? Are they full? Are you in the dark? Just speak. The wand listens to you and recognizes your spells, even when you speak them quickly. It also understands commands in Italian: "turn on," "turn off," "light," "dark."

FROM THE SHUTTER OR HOME SCREEN, WITHOUT OPENING ANYTHING
Add the "Lumos" tile to Quick Settings: pull down the shade and the light turns on, even with the app closed. A long tap opens the app. There's also a Home screen widget: one wand, one tap, light. It's the fastest way when darkness arrives first.

ONE TOUCH, IF YOU PREFER
A tap anywhere on the screen switches to the next spell. A long tap returns everything to Nox. No buttons to search for in the darkness.

THE WAND IS YOURS
Choose the core—unicorn hair, phoenix feather, dragon string—and the colors of the light, the shapes of the runes, and the pitch of the sounds change. Never the flashlight: it stays the same, serious one, no matter what.

WAVE THE WAND
A sharp flick forward turns it on, a backward flick off. The threshold is deliberately high, and the gestures only work when the app is open, so the light doesn't go off in your pocket.

AND SOMETHING HIDDEN
There are spells you won't find written anywhere. One summons a silver guardian that swims across the screen. Another makes fear trip in a cloud of confetti. Try to guess them.

GRAPHICS THAT LOOK LIKE MAGIC
Starry skies scrolling, rings of runes rotating, embers rising from below, shockwaves with every spell cast. And as you speak, the runes accelerate and light up with your voice: the wand actually hears you. Every screen is drawn, not photographed: pixel-perfect on any device, animated at all times.

MADE TO SERVE, NOT TO DISTURB
• It opens ready to use: no welcome screen, no registration.
• The screen stays on as long as the light is needed.
• The wand turns off automatically when you exit the app: no wasted battery, no blocked camera.
• It also works on devices without a flash: the screen light remains.

WHEN YOU REALLY NEED IT
A power outage. Keys dropped under the car. The trail back from the shelter. The hallway at night with a child in your arms. The lock in the dark. The campsite. The cellar.

A serious flashlight, dressed as a spell.

Lumos requires access to the camera only to turn on the LED flash, and to the microphone only to listen to spells. No recordings are saved or sent.
