About Pitwall GP: Race Manager
Speed wins laps. Decisions win championships.
You take over a single-seater team in an entirely fictional paddock. Two drivers, one car to develop, twelve rounds and a budget that does not stretch.
A WEEKEND, STEP BY STEP
You set the gearing and the downforce for the circuit. You ask the engineer. You go qualifying. You choose tyres and pace for each driver and watch the race lap by lap — or run it at whatever speed you like. Halfway through, the rain can arrive and the live race pauses for you to decide.
TWO CARS, NEITHER THE SAME
Every driver has pace, wet driving, consistency and tyre management — and a profile that changes risk and wear. Battle orders are not pace: hunting a pass costs tyre and energy, defending costs time when somebody is on your tail. The timing tower shows every place gained and lost, lap by lap.
HYBRID ENERGY AND THE COMPOUND RULE
Balance, recover or deploy: the battery is a decision, not a number that fills itself. In a long race you must use two different dry compounds or a wet tyre — failing to do so costs twenty-five seconds at the flag. A crash brings out the safety car: the field bunches up behind it, a twenty-lap lead vanishes and a pit stop becomes almost free — that is where races are won and lost. The pit wall shows the stop window, where your driver rejoins if they box now and, with a car within a second and a half, whether the undercut pays — always as a range, never as a promise.
THE WORKSHOP AND THE MONEY
Engine, chassis, aerodynamics and reliability, up to two projects at once. Sponsors on different terms: a guaranteed base, bonuses per point, end-of-season targets. Contracts, wages, podium bonuses and release costs, each with the price in front of you before you sign.
TWELVE CIRCUITS, TWELVE PROBLEMS
Original layouts, some about braking and cornering, others about straights and engine. Two championships with their own formats: Grand Prix with one long race per round, Sprint Tour with a sprint and a grand prix, both from the qualifying grid.
DAILY CHALLENGE
Every day, the same short race for everyone: your two cars start near the back and the weather turns halfway, and there is always a safety car to read. Rescue the race with tyres, hybrid and pit stops, share how many places you gained and keep your daily streak alive. An optional daily reminder tells you when a new challenge is up.
RECORD BOOK AND FORM
Every circuit keeps its lap record across seasons, shown on the next-race card with who set it — beat it and you get a «new circuit record» call. A form strip shows your last five finishes at a glance, a podium ends in chequered confetti and a buzz, and vibration can be switched off in Options.
• Free, with ads. No purchases, ever.
• Plays offline and without an account.
• Six languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French and German.
• The career stays on your phone, and you can export it.
• Teams, drivers, championships and circuits are invented. No connection to real competitions.
Ads pay for this, and they fit the paddock: a guest in the garage, an advance from the sponsor, a night shift in the workshop, a spare engine in the truck, a dossier on a free agent. Each one is capped per season — watching every ad for a whole year is worth less than half a place in the final standings. It does not buy a title.
