You are the 112 dispatcher.

Every call tells a situation — the neighbour's smoking chimney, the crash on the national road, the cat in the pine tree. You choose the units the situation needs (not the ones the caller asks for), the priority, and dispatch. Units take time to arrive and return; with no free unit, the call waits.

• Shifts of 8 calls in 6 minutes; a call of the day, the same for everyone.

• Advising is also an answer: not everything needs units.
• Points for the right units, priority and time; perfect dispatches; weekly rank.
• 113 calls: some ambiguous — asking costs seconds and reveals the real need; others change mid-call; children, tourists, elderly callers, hoaxes and callbacks.
• Bad night: 12 calls with fewer units, and calls that wait get worse. Its own record, plus Tonight — the same night for everyone.
