About Telescope Wallpapers

The Telescope is used to study the electromagnetic radiation of objects. It allows you to explore the electromagnetic radiation of astronomical objects in the carrier frequency range from tens of MHz to tens of GHz.

Scientists using a Telescope can take the object's radio emission and, based on the data obtained, investigate the characteristics of the sources, such as coordinates, spatial structure, radiation intensity, spectrum, and polarization.

Telescope space radiation was first discovered in 1931 by Karl Jansky, an American radio engineer. Jansky discovered stationary radio noise by studying atmospheric radio interference.

The Telescope radiation scientist could not fully explain its origin and identified its source with the Milky Way, the central part of the galaxy where the center is located.

The Telescope consists of an antenna system, a radiometer, and recording equipment. A radiometer is a receiving device that measures the strength of low-intensity radiation in the radio wave range (wavelengths from 0.1 mm to 1000 m). In other words, the Telescope occupies the lowest frequency position compared to other devices in which electromagnetic radiation is studied.

Antennas used in Telescopes can be divided into several main types (classified by wavelength range and purpose)

The main problem with using parabolic mirror Telescopes is that the mirror deforms under the influence of gravity when rotated. Therefore, with an increase in diameter of more than approximately 150 m, measurements deviations increase. However, powerful Telescopes have been operating successfully for many years.

By design, Telescopes are primarily open-ended. In some cases, the telescope is placed inside the dome to protect the mirror from weather phenomena (temperature changes and wind loads): solid (High stack Observatory, 37-m Telescope) or with a sliding window (11-m).
