The gate at the entrance of the arena is the gate of gladiators and animals to the stage. The places of the audience in the Colosseum varied according to their social status. The working class and the public sat at the top, the furthest from the arena, while members of the Senate and other essential people sat closest to the stage.

Considered one of the world's seven wonders, the Historic Roman Colosseum is one of Italy's essential sources of tourist income today.
