BudgetCheck is the official Android companion for household and project budgets on your organisation’s Nextcloud. Post expenses and income on the go, see what is left after savings (or spend vs project cap), and keep your server as the source of truth — without opening the full web UI.

WHAT YOU NEED
• Your organisation’s Nextcloud server (HTTPS)
• The BudgetCheck Nextcloud app installed and enabled
• A user account with workspace access
• A one-time Google Play purchase of this app

WHAT THE APP DOES
• Official Nextcloud Login Flow v2 — your main password is never stored in the app
• Add expenses and income in seconds (ledger posting / “book”)
• Home glance: available after savings (household) or spend vs cap (project)
• Recent transactions with edit/delete when your role allows
• Optional offline create queue when the server supports it
• Optional budget reminders (opt-in)

PRIVACY & SECURITY
• No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
• Budget and transaction data stay on your Nextcloud — not on Software by Design servers
• HTTPS required in production builds
• Only a Nextcloud app password is kept, in the device secure store

IMPORTANT
No hosted trial account is included. Enter your organisation’s Nextcloud URL. Bank sync, receipt OCR, month close, and budget editors are not in this mobile app. Android only in this version (no iOS claim).
