The 4Ducks way is based on 4 principles, or "ducks". Each duck is designed to keep you in control of your money:

HOW IT WORKS

First, enter all your monthly and yearly bills (rent, insurance, cable, car registration, etc). Make sure to include when you usually pay each bill. Then get the benefits:
• View a timeline of when each bill is due in the entire year
• Breakdown of expenses by category
• See how much to save each month of the year, even months when a large expense is due
• When times are tough, easily see which non-essential expenses you can cancel
• Easily view which expenses are due in the current month
• Sort expenses by amount
• View expenses by their yearly total or monthly average

4Ducks is the personal assistant that reminds you of important events so you never miss a beat and always look good. For example:
• Get reminded when it's time to pay a bill so you never miss a payment
• Get reminded once a week to pay your credit cards
• Review your income and expenses once a month on Save Day to see how much you can save
