• Max boost (Pro) extends the dial to +18 dB for a weak phone speaker, the car or outdoors.

CLEAR: ENHANCE FROM 0 TO 100 %
CLEAR blends in the current mode from untouched to full. Tone sliders for Bass, Warmth, Clarity and Air fine-tune the result in half-decibel steps. Press and hold "Hold to hear original" to switch everything off for a moment; let go and the enhanced sound returns instantly, so you hear the difference.

VOLUME LEVELER
Loud adverts, quiet whispers, a sudden explosion after a calm scene: the volume leveler evens them out, so you stop reaching for the volume keys. Gentle is included for everyone; Strong (Pro) holds the level even on the noisiest videos while quiet voices stay audible.

DIALOGUE BOOST FOR FILMS AND SHOWS
Dialogue boost (Pro) lifts the voice range above music and effects, so you hear every word without turning the whole film up.

SMART AUTO AND MODES
• Music, Movie and Speaker modes are included.
• Voice for podcasts and audiobooks, Game for footsteps and effects, and Night for full sound at low volume come with Pro.
• Smart Auto (Pro) checks what kind of audio is playing and switches between Music, Movie, Voice and Game by itself. The chip shows its choice, for example "Auto · Movie".

PHONE SPEAKER AND 3D SURROUND
Speaker mode trims the low rumble a tiny speaker cannot play and adds presence, so voices sound fuller and less tinny. On headphones, 3D surround widens the stage on phones that support it; where it is not supported, the option stays hidden.

WORKS WITH YOUR APPS
Soundsmith uses the audio effects built into Android. Music, video and streaming apps that share their audio session are enhanced automatically. For apps that don't, Compatibility mode enhances the whole phone output; it works on most phones. The notification and a Quick Settings tile switch it on or off from anywhere.

HEARING SAFETY AND BATTERY
• Hearing safety keeps peaks 3 dB lower when you boost on headphones.
• Soundsmith runs as a light background service only while it is switched on.
• Ads are always muted, so they never talk over what you are listening to.

PRIVACY
Soundsmith never asks for the microphone and records nothing. It does not read the content of what you play. The type of audio used by Smart Auto is checked on your phone and never leaves it.
