Stadium Decibel Meter

How loud is your stand? Find out — and put it on the world map.

Stadium Decibel Meter turns your phone into a crowd noise meter. Start a record attempt when the stand goes up, and your peak decibel reading goes straight onto a global leaderboard: for you, for your stadium and for your country.

MEASURE THE CROWD
• Live decibel meter with a big, readable dial
• Peak and sustained levels, so a single shout can't fake a record
• Calibration offset to match your phone's microphone
• No audio is ever recorded — only the loudness numbers

CHASE THE RECORD
• The world record for the loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium is 142.2 dBA (Kansas City Chiefs fans, Arrowhead Stadium, 2014)
• Every attempt shows how close you got
• Five tiers: Whisper, Chant, Roar, Thunder, Earthquake

GLOBAL LEADERBOARDS
• Rank by fan, by stadium and by country
• All time, this month, this week, today
• Readings taken inside the ground get a verified badge
• Only your best attempt counts, so nobody can flood the table

6,878 STADIUMS WORLDWIDE
• Football grounds in 215 countries, plus every big arena
• Your stadium is detected automatically from your location
• Search by stadium, club or city — and it all works offline

HONEST ABOUT THE NUMBERS
A phone microphone is not a Class 1 sound level meter. Readings are a good estimate for fans, not an official measurement, and they are not recognised by Guinness World Records. This is a game between supporters.

PRIVACY
No audio ever leaves your phone. We send only the decibel numbers, the stadium you picked, your nickname and an anonymous device id. No account, no sign-up, no ads.
