Tripfolk is where travellers and locals meet up around plans.
Open the app and you see what is actually happening in your city: coffee at ten, a museum on Saturday, a hike before sunrise, dinner at the night market. Tap once to join, and the group chat opens itself.

Locals know the city. Travellers know what it is like to arrive somewhere new. Tripfolk puts both on the same map. Add the languages you speak and the things you are into, and anything you have in common shows up as a badge.
A PASSPORT THAT FILLS ITSELF
Every trip you add colours in a country on your world map. Watch it fill up, see what share of the world you have covered, keep a list of the places still to come, and turn your year into a card worth sharing.
TRIPS THAT OVERLAP
Add where you are going and when. Tripfolk shows who else will be there on the same dates, so a plan can start before you land.
YOUR EXACT LOCATION NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE
This is not a setting you have to go and find. It is how the app is built.
• Shifted before it is stored. Every position is moved 300–800 metres in a direction fixed to your account, then snapped to a grid. The raw coordinates are thrown away.
• Never shared. Other people see a rounded distance like "2.4 km" — never your coordinates. Map pins sit at an approximate spot, not where you are.
• Nothing automatic. Appearing on the map is a separate, deliberate tap, and it expires on its own. No background tracking, no location history.
SAFETY
Photo verification, blocking and reporting on every profile, plan and message, and a moderation queue with real people behind it. You decide who is allowed to message you, and you can turn your visibility off at any time.
