ShellyFinder: BLU Button Tool

ShellyFinder turns a Shelly BLU Button into a finder for your keys, your bag and anything else you'd hate to lose. Put a button on it, pair it once, and your phone can ring it, follow its signal and remember where you had it. No account, no subscription, no cloud.

RING IT
• Tap Ring and the button beeps, wherever it's hiding: down the sofa, in a coat pocket, under the car seat
• It beeps for 30 seconds (a minute on the Button Tough 1 ZB), or until you tap Stop
• Ring a thing straight from your home screen with its launcher shortcut

FOLLOW THE GLOW
• Find follows the signal: the orb grows and glows warmer as you get closer, and your phone ticks faster in your hand
• A radar shows all your things around you at a glance, the nearest in the middle
• Distances in meters or feet, and a live graph of the signal

FIND YOUR PHONE, TOO
• Press the button twice and your phone rings, even in silent mode
• Choose two presses, three or a long press for each thing
• With background watch on, it works with the app closed

KNOW WHERE YOU HAD IT
• See when your phone last heard each thing
• Turn on Remember places to see where you were then, too, and open the spot in your maps app
• Get a notification if you leave something behind, and when a button's battery runs low

• Works with the Shelly BLU Button1, Button Tough 1 and Button Tough 1 ZB, and the BLU Remote, RC Button 4 and Wall Switch 4
• Pairing takes a minute, and sets the button up for finding as it goes
• Device settings for beacon mode, the buzzer, multi-press speed and the button's clock
• Encrypt what a button sends with a 6-digit PIN: ShellyFinder keeps the key sealed on your phone and shows it for Home Assistant or a Shelly hub
• Nearby lists every Shelly BLU device in range with its readings, or every BTHome device

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking
• ShellyFinder doesn't use the internet: your things, their history and places stay on your phone
• Bluetooth is only used to talk to your buttons, never to work out where you are. Location is used only for Remember places, and only if you turn it on
