Like many legendary Italian brands, Maserati's story is revealed by the solidarity between family members. In 1914, Maserati brothers Alfieri, Ettore, Ernesto and Bindo founded Societe Anonima Officine Alfieri in the heart of Bologna.

When the first real Maserati, produced in 1926, won the legendary race track, the Targa Florio, which has a magnificent view of the island of Sicily and has such complex bends, under Alfieri's piloting, the efforts were rewarded. After this date, there was no turning back.
From now on, Maserati began developing race cars with 4, 6, 8, and 16 cylinders. Alfieri, who provided Maserati with this significant breakthrough, died in 1932, the remaining three brothers continued to manufacture cars and win races.
