Cartographer Free (Minecraft)

Cartographer Free puts a live map of the single-player world you are playing on your phone. Put the phone beside your keyboard and see where you are and what is around you, without leaving the game.

It needs a small free mod on the PC you play on. That takes about two minutes to set up once, and the app links to it. After that the app finds your PC on its own. There is no address to type and no account to make.

WHAT IT SHOWS
- Your position and heading, live, drawn from the game itself rather than guessed.
- The seed map: the terrain and biomes of your world, computed by your own game from your seed, as far out as you care to scroll.
- Every structure: villages, trial chambers, monuments, strongholds and the rest, at the coordinates the locate command would give you. Tap one for its exact position and distance.
- Coordinate search: type a position and the map goes there.

WHAT THE PAID CARTOGRAPHER ADDS
- Your real world at block level: the blocks you actually placed and the holes you dug.
- Fog of war and "everything I've seen": a map that fills in as you look, remembered for good.
- A Y slider that pulls the map down through your caves, block by block.
- Map files you can name, export and hand to a friend, and view without the PC.
- Stream to PC for OBS, waypoints, and choosing which structure markers to show.
The free app tells you once, when it opens, that the paid one exists. That is the only difference in how it behaves.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No account, no sign-in, no cloud, no analytics.
- Never makes an internet request. It talks to your own PC on your own wifi and nothing else.
- Runs on phones without Google services.

WHAT YOU NEED
- Minecraft: Java Edition 26.1 or newer (a build for 1.21.11 is also available), with Fabric Loader and Fabric API.
- The free Loxley Map Mod, from loxleylabs.net/apps/cartographer.
- Your phone and your PC on the same wifi.

Single-player only. On a server you did not host, the mod answers only surface questions, by design.
