Loxley Flashlight

Turn your phone into a flashlight. That's it. No ads, no sign-up, no permissions, and nothing watching what you do.

Tap the big button and the LED comes on. Tap again, it goes off. Leave it and it turns itself off after five minutes, or whatever you set. There's a home-screen widget too, so you can light up without even opening the app. The screen stays awake while the light is on, so it won't doze off mid-task.

Most flashlight apps are bloated with ads, ask for permissions they have no business needing, and quietly track you. This one doesn't. It uses your camera's flash through the standard Android torch control, which needs no permissions at all, so there's nothing to grant and nothing to leak.

WHAT YOU GET
• One-tap on/off with a big, easy target
• Auto-off timer: the light turns itself off after 5 minutes, or any time you set up to an hour, so a forgotten torch never drains the phone
• Brightness levels on phones that support them (Android 13 and newer)
• SOS strobe: the real ... --- ... pattern, one tap
• Screen light: the whole display goes white at full brightness for a softer light
• Battery level and time left on the timer, right on the main screen
• Home-screen widget: toggle the torch without opening the app
• Keeps the screen on while lit
• Five clean themes, including a high-contrast mode
• Works offline

THE LOXLEY PROMISE
• No ads, ever
• No tracking, no analytics, no accounts
• No internet permission, so it cannot phone home
• Free, and yours to keep
