The passphrase is the star: six plain English words with a number on the end, like Amber-castle-violin-pilot-nine-oak-27. Easy to read off the screen, easy to remember for a day, and strong: about 69 bits, which is thousands of years of guessing at ten billion tries a second. Want a classic random password instead? • Passphrases from a built-in list of plain English words. Set the word count, the separator, a capital, and a number.
• PINs of 4 to 12 digits.
• Strength in plain words, with how long it would take to crack, not just a number of bits.

• Copied passwords are marked sensitive and clear from the clipboard after 45 seconds
• Screenshots and the recent-apps preview are blocked while the vault is open

A note worth repeating: your master password is the only key. We never see it and it is never sent anywhere, so we cannot reset it for you. If you forget it, the vault cannot be opened. Keep it somewhere safe.
