GoneTab: Private Browser is a web browser that keeps nothing. No history, no bookmarks, no search list, and one tap on Vanish closes every tab and erases cookies, logins, site storage and cache.

This private browser is made for phones you share, lend or hand to someone for a moment. Browse, search or sign in, then leave no trace behind on the device.

■ One tap to vanish
• The Vanish button sits next to the address bar, always one tap away
• Closes all tabs and deletes cookies, logins, site storage, cache and form data
• The app then starts over with a fresh, empty browser
• Swipe GoneTab away from recent apps and the same happens

■ Wiped when you leave
• Choose when a session ends after you leave the app: immediately, 30 seconds, 1, 5 or 15 minutes
• Everything from that session is erased and the app locks again
• No need to remember to clean up; the browser does it for you

■ Nothing for others to see
• Screenshots and screen recording are blocked
• The page is hidden in the recent-apps view
• Your keyboard is told not to learn what you type, so searches don't turn up as suggestions later
• Autofill and password-manager apps stay out unless you allow them

• PIN with its own on-screen keypad, so the system keyboard never sees it
• Unlock with your fingerprint
• Wrong guesses are slowed down automatically

• Downloads are encrypted inside the app with a key held in your phone's secure hardware

• Do I need an account? No. There is no account, no ads and no analytics.
• Does it hide me online? No. It keeps your phone clean, but it does not hide you from the websites you visit, your mobile carrier or your Wi-Fi network. For that you need a VPN.
