Locus Ballistics

Locus Ballistics — PRS-ready ballistic calculator for long range shooting

Locus Ballistics is an offline ballistic calculator for Precision Rifle Series (PRS) workflows and long range shooting. It calculates trajectory corrections from environmental conditions, rifle configuration, ammunition data, wind, and target distance.

Built for fast PRS stages, Locus keeps multiple targets, individual wind values, and corrections available on one screen — without rebuilding a setup between targets.

How it works

Locus continuously recalculates trajectory and bullet drop as inputs change. Create rifle and ammunition profiles, set weather and wind conditions, add targets, and get the corrections you need for each distance.

Each target can use its own wind values, which is useful for stages with changing terrain, wind direction, or target positions.

Key features

• Offline trajectory calculations — no internet connection required

• Multiple targets displayed on one screen

• Independent wind values for every target

• Targets grouped by locations with fast switching

• Primary correction and correction relative to the first target

• Flexible unit systems and parameter settings

• Weather from a Kestrel meter over Bluetooth

• Garmin companion app for supported Garmin watches

• Apple Watch companion for quick access to ballistic data

Designed for PRS and long range shooting

PRS stages often involve awkward positions, multiple target distances, variable wind, and rapid transitions. Locus Ballistics is designed to keep target data, locations, and trajectory corrections immediately accessible when time matters.

The interface is focused on speed and clarity, helping shooters manage calculations without unnecessary setup steps.
