About Speaker Cleaner - Water Eject
Dropped your phone in water? The speaker sounds muffled because there is still water sitting behind the grille.
Speaker Cleaner plays a low-frequency tone that makes the speaker membrane move far enough to push that water back out. It is the same idea behind the water eject feature on a smartwatch.
HOW TO USE IT
1. Turn the volume all the way up
2. Hold the phone with the speaker pointing down
3. Tap once and let it run
THREE MODES, ALL FREE
Water eject - a steady 165 Hz tone, the frequency most phone speakers respond to best. Start here.
Deep clean - sweeps 100-400 Hz to find your own speaker's resonance.
Dust - a higher sweep that shakes grit out of the grille.
Nothing is locked. There is no subscription, no trial, and no paywall in front of the thing the app is for. If you would rather not see ads you can remove them once, for a small one-off price, but you never have to.
IT WILL NOT PLAY INTO YOUR EARS
If headphones or earbuds are connected, the app refuses to start and tells you why. A loud low tone belongs in a speaker, not an ear canal.
HONEST ABOUT LIMITS
This is not a repair. It shifts water sitting in the speaker grille. If the sound is still muffled after a few rounds, or the phone went into salt water, take it to a repair shop - the app will tell you the same.
