Budsonar: Bluetooth Finder

Lost an earbud in the couch, the car or an open field? Budsonar is a Bluetooth finder that shows how close your device is — as a real signal number, not a guess.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Tap Start scan. Bluetooth devices around you appear, strongest signal first.
2. Tap your earbuds, headphones or watch to start tracking.
3. Walk slowly. The ring grows and turns from cool to hot. When it reads Very close, look down.

TIPS THAT ACTUALLY HELP
• Disconnect the earbuds from your phone first — connected buds often stay silent.
• Open the charging case, or take one bud out.
• Turn 360° slowly. Pockets, sofas and walls weaken the signal.
• A completely dead battery sends no signal, so check the last place you used it.

PRIVACY
No account and no sign-up. On Android 12 and newer Budsonar does not ask for your location — Bluetooth is used only to measure signal strength. Your saved devices stay on your phone.
