Yes. Baby Cam does not need an internet connection. Both phones only need to be on the same WiFi network, which your router provides even when the internet is down.

Do I need two phones?

Can I watch from outside the house?
No. Baby Cam is a local baby monitor. Both phones must be on the same WiFi, which is exactly why your video never leaves your home.

Is my baby's video recorded or uploaded?
Never uploaded. With Pro you can save photos and clips, and they stay only on your own device.

Does it drain the battery?
Live video uses power, so keep the camera phone charging overnight. The parent phone can run the view in picture in picture while you use other apps.
