Codexa Reader: EPUB reader

Codexa Reader is a self-hosted EPUB and comic book reader connected directly to your own Codexa server — this app is a feature-rich mobile client for your personal ebook library.

IMPORTANT: This app requires a self-hosted Codexa server to connect to. It is not a book store and does not include any pre-installed books. You (or someone you trust) run the free, open-source server on a home NAS or VPS, then read offline with full cross-device sync. Learn how to set up a server at the project's repository page linked below.

WHY CODEXA READER?
• Built on CXReader — Codexa's custom EPUB reader engine designed for absolute reliability, faithful formatting, fixed-layout comics, and messy EPUB files alike.
• Books and comics in one library — First-class support for EPUB, fixed-layout EPUB, CBZ, and CBR files without needing separate apps.
• True two-way KOReader sync — Built-in KOSync server support keeps your e-reader and phone on the exact same page without third-party cloud services.
• Multi-user self-hosted support — Per-user libraries, reading progress, highlights, and custom settings.
• Privacy first — No cloud tracking, no ads, and no external telemetry. Everything lives securely on your own server.
