Pulsar: Classical Guitar Tuner

Pulsar
An ultra-precision strobe tuner and acoustic metronome tailored specifically for the acoustic physics and performance of the classical guitar.

String vibration dynamics, body resonance, and fretting tension increases cause subtle pitch deviations that conventional equal-temperament tuners fail to track. Pulsar condenses the acoustic DSP core of ReString Logger into a lightweight, standalone app that operates instantly without account registration or cloud dependencies.

Experience professional digital signal processing: strobe tuning, dedicated classical guitar temperaments, string quality diagnostics, timbre analysis, precision metronome, and hands-free loop recording.

Key Features & Highlights
────────────────────────

[1] Precision Strobe Tuner & Pitch Ribbon
- +/-0.1 cent accuracy driven by phase accumulation strobe animation.
- Auto String Detection: Automatically detects strings (1st to 6th) without manual tapping.
- 3 Tuning Operation Modes:
* Continuous: Real-time dynamic strobe and meter tracking.
* Manual Snap: Tap to extract the most stable pitch trajectory.
* Auto Snap: Pluck a string to autonomously detect settle convergence and lock pitch.
- Pitch Ribbon: Time-series graph displaying continuous pitch progression.

[2] Dedicated Classical Guitar Temperaments
- 12-ET: Global standard equal temperament.
- Key Optimization: Suppresses 3rd-string beat distortion to sweeten tonic and dominant chords.
- Chord Optimization: Pre-compensates for fret pressure tension increases on frets 1 to 3.
- Dyad Beat Tuning: Real-time visualization of physical beat frequency (Hz) when plucking two strings together.

[3] String Quality Assurance (String QA)
- Detect manufacturing defects and density irregularities immediately after restringing.
- Evaluate open-string sustain decay, roundness (irregular beats), and harmonic uniformity.
- Measure 12th-fret natural harmonics vs. 12th-fret fretted notes to verify intonation and saddle compensation.

[4] Guitar Timbre Analyzer
- Guided 6th-to-1st string measurement wizard to capture the acoustic fingerprint of your instrument.
- Computes spectral centroid (brightness), sustain decay time (T30), partial profiles (1st to 8th), and odd/even ratios.
- Background Isolate processing preserves smooth 60-120 fps interface animations.

[5] Acoustic Metronome & Tempo Detection
- Low-latency, jitter-free audio engine with woodblock, click, and synth beep sound sets.
- Natural physical pendulum visualizer with power-efficient rendering.
- Smart Tempo Detection: Analyzes guitar playing audio via microphone to automatically estimate BPM.

[6] Studio Recorder & Hands-Free Loop Practice
- Auto-triggers recording from the very first pluck attack (Armed mode).
- Loop Practice Mode: Automatically stops after musical silence (with debounce immunity against external metronome clicks) and replays in a continuous loop.
- Performance Take Mode: Uncompressed high-fidelity recording and export.

Professional Acoustic DSP: Pure Dart DSP core delivering ultra-low latency, zero-allocation real-time loops, microphone sensitivity calibration, and Bluetooth degradation protection.

No account required. Uncompromising tuning and acoustic measurement the moment you open your guitar case.
