A Muslim's spirit of worship will grow if the promise of reward and beautiful rewards is sprinkled in his heart. On the other hand, the fear of Allah will become stronger if he knows about the threats and sins of committing acts that Allah and His Messenger have forbidden.

This is the focus of a series of hadiths written by Imam al-Hafizh al-Mundziri, a great scholar who specializes in hadiths, in at-Targhib Wa at-Tarhib, which is a collection of hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad about Targhib (advice, encouragement, motivation, promises of reward, reward, heaven) and Tarhib (threats, warnings, taboos, bad consequences, sin and hell); in matters of faith, worship, morals and muaamalah. It's just that not all hadiths included in the book are authentic and can be used as a basis.

Therefore, the hadith expert Imam of this century, Shaykh Muhammad Nashiruddin al-Albani, appeared to provide a solution. He sorted and selected authentic and hasan hadiths and put them into a separate book; Sahih at-Targhib Wa at-Tarhib, while the hadiths that were dhaif and worse than that he put in a separate book, Dhaif at-Targhib Wa at-Tarhib.

This is where the strength of the Sahih at-Targhib Wa at-Tarhib book lies, all the hadiths contained in it have gone through detailed and comprehensive study and research selection. Plus, there's no need to doubt the big name of the composer. His written works with Allah's taufik can be accepted in Islamic society.

Meanwhile, he put the dha'if and worse hadiths in a separate book, Dha'if at-Targhib Wa at-Tarhib.
