The term jihad has been a very popular term for quite a long period of time, especially after the collapse of the WTC (World Trade Center) and the outbreak of acts of terrorism in various places. Bernard Lewis specifically noted the issue of jihad as a holy war and unholy terror carried out by terrorists. Those who oppose consider that the fatwa is irrelevant because the Israeli problem is an acute problem and requires the involvement of all parties, especially the entire Arab world which directly experiences the Israeli army's occupation of the Gaza Strip and the South Lebanon border. On the other hand, Muslim solidarity can be an effort. pressuring the Israeli government and the United States government to stop their foreign policy policies which tend to harm Palestine and the Arab world in general
