Do humans think that their affairs will just be finished after death comes? Do sinners think that their sins will simply be washed away upon the arrival of death? Indeed, they are heedless people who have been warned!
Because the promised day has come, the day of resurrection! That is the day when all the deeds of all creatures who have lived briefly between heaven and earth will be rewarded.
By Him I seek refuge under His shadow
All humans will be resurrected from the dead: When the earth is shaken with a (terrific) shaking, and the earth has thrown out the heavy burdens (it contained), and people ask: "Why did the earth (become like this)?" On that day the earth will tell you its news, because indeed your Lord has commanded (such) it. On that day people will come out of their graves in various states, so that they will be shown (the reward for) their work. Whoever does good deeds weighing as much as (a grain of) dzarah, surely he will see (the reward). And whoever does evil as much as (a grain of) dzarah, surely he will see (the reward) too. {QS 99:1-8}
