About MicBox: Mic to Speaker & PA

MicBox turns your phone into a portable microphone for a Bluetooth speaker, a wired PA or the phone's own loudspeaker. Three steps:
1. Connect a speaker: Bluetooth, a cable or the phone's speaker.
2. Run Quick setup.
3. Talk.

Use it at market stalls, sports coaching, outdoor events, community meetings or temple and church halls.

BUILT FOR OUTDOORS
• Outdoor Mode: one big switch sets a 120 Hz high-pass, +3 dB around 3 kHz for clarity, a limiter at −1 dBFS, a light gate and Impact Guard
• Wind Guard hears wind rumble below 150 Hz, slides the high-pass up to 250 Hz within 1 s and shows a wind icon, then returns 3 s after the wind stops
• Sunlight screen: high-contrast black and white with mint, three big buttons (Mic, Mute, Horn), large text, screen kept on
• Event Loop repeats an announcement such as entrance, parking or start time between background music. One message is free
• Speaker Rescue: if the Bluetooth speaker drops, the mic mutes at once and never blasts from the phone. A big alert shows, and the mic returns 1 s after the same speaker reconnects

QUICK SETUP AND RING-OUT
• Stay quiet for 3 seconds, then read one sentence aloud. MicBox picks gain, howl guard and noise gate, never above the safe level saved for this speaker
• Safe gain check raises the volume step by step until it rings, then marks the loudest safe level on the gain slider
• The "Talk now" shortcut on the app icon starts the mic with your last setup
• Setup code packs your settings into a short code or QR code, with no personal data. Save one scene, or up to 6 with Premium

BLUETOOTH OR PHONE SPEAKER
• A connected Bluetooth speaker is used automatically, with its name shown
• Keep speaker awake stops it dozing off and cutting your first word
• Input: phone mic, headset mic or a plug-in USB mic
• Bluetooth adds a short delay, often 0.1–0.3 s. The live delay chip shows about how many ms the current output adds; tap it to measure again. A cable is fastest

STOPS THE HOWL
• Anti-howl guard: Gentle, Balanced or Aggressive. It cuts a squealing tone and lowers the gain
• Howl help: if squeals keep coming back, a banner offers one-tap fixes
• The feedback margin gauge shows roughly how many dB you have left
• Noise gate keeps fan hum and crowd noise out between words

SOUNDBOARD, MUSIC AND RECORDING
• Soundboard: Applause, Correct! and Wrong buzzer while you talk
• Music bed: a song under your voice, with a mic and music balance
• Record what the speaker plays as a WAV file, then share or save it
• Hold to talk, slide up to lock; in pocket mode the volume keys are the mic button

SAFE FOR SPEAKERS AND EARS
• Soften sudden loud sounds is on from the start: door slams and claps are turned down fast
• Distortion warning with a one-tap "Lower 3 dB"
• Battery alerts at 20 % and 10 %
• Tip: stand beside or behind the speaker and start low
