Mic Pro: Low Latency Live Mic

Measure the room first, then go live. Mic Pro is a live microphone that shows you the numbers behind your sound.

Speak into the phone and your voice plays in real time through the phone speaker, wired headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. Know what the speaker and the room are doing before anyone hears it.

GET STARTED
1. Connect the speaker and set it to its normal volume.
2. Run Quick setup: 3 seconds of quiet, then one sentence. It suggests gain, noise gate and Clear voice.
3. Run Safe gain check once per speaker, then tap the mic and talk.

PRO TOOLS (NEW IN 1.1)
• 5-band parametric EQ: low shelf, 3 peaks and high shelf with Freq, Gain and Q on a live response curve. Free: view the curve and adjust band 1
• Live RTA: full-screen 1/3-octave spectrum with peak hold; red markers show frequencies at risk of howling
• Dynamics: compressor (threshold, ratio, attack, release, makeup) and limiter ceiling with a gain-reduction meter. Light and Medium presets are free
• Latency Lab: a click test measures the round trip and saves it per output (phone speaker, wired, USB, or Bluetooth with the device name) in a comparison table that names the fastest route. Free: 3 results
• Platform FX: shows whether your phone has echo cancellation (AEC), noise suppression (NS) and auto gain (AGC), with a switch for each. Results vary by phone
• Delay chip on the live screen shows ~ms for the current output; tap to measure again
• Howl help: if the mic keeps howling, one tap lowers 3 dB or runs howl guard
• Background guide for your phone brand and a "Talk now" shortcut on the app icon

MEASURE
• Left / right channel test and a sweep to find rattles
• Bluetooth link line: stable, unsteady or poor
• Feedback margin gauge: "~N dB before feedback"
• Input and output meters, gain slider, distortion warning
• "Why no sound?" lists likely causes with a fix for each

SHAPE
• Tone presets: Flat, Voice, Bass boost, Bright, Karaoke
• Mic source: Standard, Voice, Camcorder or Raw; or a headset or USB mic
• Clear voice cuts rumble and hum; Light noise reduction for fans (adds about 10 ms)
• Delay mode: Low delay, or Stable with bigger buffers for slower phones

PROTECT
• Howl guard with 3 levels notches out the squeal and lowers the gain
• Safe gain check raises gain until the room rings, then saves the highest safe gain per speaker
• Noise gate and a voice-only gate that stays shut on steady noise
• Mute if the speaker disconnects or the phone is face down

TALK TOOLS
• Hold to talk and slide to lock, or use the volume keys as the mic button
• Speech timer, scenes and a music bed under your voice
• Record the speaker output as WAV (up to 60 s free)

BLUETOOTH DELAY
Classic Bluetooth adds about 0.2 s, LE Audio less, a cable least. Keep speaker awake plays a very soft hiss so the speaker doesn't cut your first word.

ADS AND PRIVACY
Mic Pro is free with ads (banner, occasional full-screen ads, optional rewarded video). Free mic sessions last 10 minutes; start a new one any time. No account, no upload: audio is processed on your phone and saved only when you tap Record, and recordings stay on the phone. Analytics and crash reports never get audio and can be turned off. Ads use the advertising ID. Requires Android 7.0 or later.
