About Keyfield: Access DB Viewer
Someone sends you a Microsoft Access file and your phone can't open it. Keyfield is an Access database viewer for Android: open any ACCDB or MDB file in seconds and read it in a table that is actually comfortable on a phone.
No account. No ads. Your files never leave your phone.
OPENS THE FILE, NOT YOUR WHOLE PHONE
Pick the file from Downloads, Drive, an email or a USB stick, or tap "Open with" from any app. Keyfield only sees the file you choose. It never asks for access to all your files, as some MDB viewer apps do.
It reads databases from Access 97 through Access 2019: an ACCDB viewer and an MDB viewer in one, so you do not need a separate MDB file viewer for the old files and an ACCDB file viewer for the new ones.
READ IT LIKE A TABLE, NOT A PUZZLE
• Every table with its row count, on one screen
• A fast grid you can scroll in both directions, with columns you can widen
• Sort by any column, filter, and search across the whole table
• Tap a row to read it as a form, every field on its own line
• Big tables stay quick: Keyfield reads them page by page instead of loading everything at once
SEE WHAT THE DATABASE KNOWS
An Access DB viewer that stops at the tables tells you half the story. Keyfield also shows the saved queries as SQL, the relationships between tables, and every field with its type, so you can understand a database someone else built. It is the database viewer for Access files that shows you how they fit together.
TAKE THE DATA WITH YOU (KEYFIELD PRO)
Viewing is free, with no limit on files or rows. Keyfield Pro, a single one-time purchase, adds:
• Export a table, or just the rows you filtered and sorted, to CSV, Excel or PDF
• Export the files stored in attachment fields
• Open Access 2007 databases protected with a password
• Share any export straight from the app
Pay once, keep it. There is no subscription, and nobody ever sees ads.
WHO USES IT
• Office and field staff who get an ACCDB attachment by email and need one number from it. An accdb viewer that opens the attachment is all they want.
• Small-business owners whose stock list or customer list still lives in Access, checking it away from the desk with Microsoft Access for Android.
• Students and teachers opening course databases. A plain ms access viewer and a microsoft access viewer that just works, with no account to make.
• Anyone with an old MDB in a backup who needs an mdb file viewer that still reads it, and an accdb file viewer for the new ones from the same folder.
If you need an access db viewer or a database viewer for Access files that respects your phone, this is it.
MADE FOR PHONES AND TABLETS
On a phone you get a focused, one-handed table. On a tablet in landscape, the table list and the open table sit side by side, so a wide table finally has room. Every screen works in portrait and landscape.
PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
Your databases never leave your device. Keyfield reads them with no internet connection; the network is used only for the purchase through Google Play, anonymous usage statistics and app configuration.
HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS NOT
Keyfield is a reader. It does not edit data, run queries, or show Access forms and reports. Tables linked to another file or a server show where they point, because that data is not inside the file. Databases encrypted by Access 2010 and later are not supported yet.
Whether you came looking for an Access database viewer, a Microsoft Access viewer for a file from work, an MS Access viewer for an old MDB from a school project, or Microsoft Access for Android so you can check a table on the go, Keyfield opens it and gets out of the way.
Keyfield is an independent app. It is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. Microsoft Access is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.

What’s new
Version 1.0.0 · Updated October 19, 2026
Keyfield opens Microsoft Access databases (.accdb and .mdb) on your phone, offline. Read every table in a grid you can sort, search and filter, open a row as a form, and see saved queries as SQL and how tables relate. Viewing is free, with no limits and no ads. A one-time Keyfield Pro purchase exports a table or view to Excel, CSV or PDF, saves attachments and opens Access 2007 password files.
