Lumo Browser is a lightweight web browser with a blocker for ads, pop-ups and trackers built directly into it. Open the pages you want, keep several tabs going, and let the blocker drop advertising and tracking requests before they load.

Lumo does not ask you to create an account. There is no sign-up, no profile, and the app keeps no browsing history — open it, read what you came for, close it.

KEY FEATURES

- Built-in ad, pop-up and tracker blocker. A curated list of roughly 250 advertising and tracking domains, drawn from EasyList and EasyPrivacy, is applied to every page you open.
- One-tap protection switch. Turn blocking on or off from the Block Ad tab whenever you want.
- Live protection counters. See how many ads and pop-ups have been blocked, and how long protection has been running in the current session.
- Lighter pages. With advertising and tracking requests dropped, a page has fewer files to fetch. Actual results depend on the site and your connection.
- Tabs. Open new tabs, switch between them in the tab manager, and close them one at a time or all at once.
- An address bar that understands both. Type a web address to open it directly, or type words to run a web search.
- One-tap shortcuts. A home grid of tiles for widely used sites, so you can jump straight in.
- Page actions. Go back and forward, copy the link, share it, or open it in a new tab.
- Choose Lumo as your default browser. Lumo registers itself as a handler for web links, so you can pick it as your default browser in Android Settings.
- 25 interface languages, including English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Indonesian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
- A dark, low-distraction interface.

WHO IT IS FOR

People who want a small, straightforward browser for everyday reading, video and shopping, and who would rather not have web advertising and trackers following them around.

SUBSCRIPTION AND ADS

- Lumo Browser is free to download and free to use. Every browsing feature, including the ad blocker, works in the free version.
- The free version shows advertising inside the app, in banner, native and full-screen formats. This is separate from the web advertising that Lumo blocks on the pages you visit.
- Lumo Premium is an optional subscription that removes the advertising shown inside the app. Weekly, monthly and yearly plans are available. Prices appear in your local currency on the subscription screen before you confirm anything.
- Where an introductory free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Google Play account settings.

- Lumo Browser displays web pages published by other people. We do not own, host, control or endorse the content you reach through the browser, and we are not affiliated with the sites offered as home-screen shortcuts. All names and logos belong to their respective owners.
- Blocking works from a domain list and cannot catch every advertisement or tracker. Some pages may not display correctly while blocking is on; you can switch it off at any time.
- Lumo Browser is not a VPN. It does not encrypt, tunnel or anonymise your network traffic, and it does not hide your IP address.
