Tagshare: MP3 Tag Editor

Your music, correctly labelled, wearing the right cover, and still that way after you send it.

Tagshare opens every song like a record sleeve: the picture on top, liner notes below, and two equal buttons, Edit and Share. Fix a name or a year, add the missing picture, then pass it on to a friend, a bandmate or a client. Changes are written inside the audio itself, so they travel with it.

EVERY FIELD, EVERY FORMAT
• Title, artist, album, album artist, track and disc numbers, year, genre, composer, comment and plain lyrics.
• MP3 (ID3v2.3 and v2.4), FLAC, M4A and AAC, OGG Vorbis, Opus and WAV.
• Changed fields are marked; tap one to put it back.
• Rename a single file from its details.

ARTWORK THAT OTHER PLAYERS SHOW
Pick a picture from your gallery and crop it square. It is embedded the standard way and the media library refreshed, so car screens and file managers show it too. Save it to Pictures, or remove a wrong one.

SHARE WITH TAGS INTACT
• Send the original, or a renamed copy called "Artist – Title" while yours keeps its name.
• Copy the details as readable text and paste them onto another song.
• Worth knowing: many messengers re-compress anything sent as audio, which can strip names and pictures. Send it as a document or file and it arrives as you saved it.

SONG CARDS
Turn a song into an image for stories or a chat: cover, name, artist, year and one lyric line on a square card in the artwork's color or Ink. Pro adds the 1080×1920 story format, four more colors, up to four lyric lines and no watermark.

TRACK LISTS AND PLAYLISTS
• Export a selection, an album, a folder or the whole library as a TXT list or an M3U8 playlist.
• Pro: CSV for spreadsheets, and whole albums as one ZIP with cover.jpg inside.
• Send several at once: up to 5 free, up to 100 with Pro.

OPEN SONGS FROM ANY APP
Pick Tagshare in another app's share menu or "Open with", and it lands in your Inbox ready to fix; save it to Music or send it back corrected. Files on a USB-C drive or SD card open through the system picker and are saved in place.

SYNCED LYRICS (PRO)
Paste the words, play the track and tap each line as it is sung. Nudge timestamps by 0.1 s, preview, then embed the result or export an .lrc. Words are never fetched from the web.

SMART LOOKUP
Tagshare searches the open MusicBrainz database by name or filename and fills in fields for you to review. Only the search text is sent. Free includes 10 a day; Pro is unlimited and adds artwork from the Cover Art Archive. Tagshare is not affiliated with MusicBrainz or the Cover Art Archive.

BATCH EDITING
Free for up to 10 tracks: give them common fields or one picture and number them in order. Pro handles any number, turns filenames into details and back with a pattern like %track% - %artist% - %title%, and tidy capitals or junk like "(Official Video)", with a preview first.

CAREFUL WITH YOUR FILES
Each save goes to a temporary copy, is read back, and only then replaces the original. Android asks your permission before any change; Tagshare never requests access to all files. Recent edits can be undone.

PRIVACY
Your music and pictures stay on your phone. No account, no uploads; sharing only happens through Android's share sheet to the app you pick.
