TerryTrilla: Song Chords & Key

TerryTrilla turns any melody into full harmony — instantly.

Load a song or write your own melody on the Circle-Keyboard, and TerryTrilla shows you exactly what to play, bar by bar. It is a chord finder, song key finder, melody harmonizer, chord progression generator, bass line generator and solo guide — all in one, built for songwriters, students, guitarists, pianists, singers and producers.

KNOW WHAT TO PLAY — BAR BY BAR
• Chords for every bar, with their function (Tonic, Subdominant, Dominant) and scale degree — so you finally understand WHY each chord works
• Song key and scale detection across the whole piece
• Bass lines that follow the harmony, note by note
• Demo solo ideas over each chord, with the scale they come from
• Guitar chord shapes mapped on the fretboard, with several ways to grip each chord
• Piano chords on the keyboard, in the same view

FIND CHORDS FOR ANY SONG
Stop hunting through tabs. Load a song and get its chords, key and structure in seconds. See what chords are in the song, how they connect, and how to play them on guitar or piano.

FIND THE KEY OF ANY SONG
Song key finder and scale detector. Know the key, the mode and the notes you can use — before you jam, practise or write a solo.

CREATE — DO NOT JUST COPY
Give TerryTrilla a melody and it writes the harmony:
• Harmonize melody into a complete chord progression
• Reharmonize any section across five worlds — Classical, Jazz, Cinematic, Pop and Neo-Soul
• Generate chord progressions bar by bar and hear them straight away
• Choose the key and scale family your piece lives in, and keep your notes locked to it while you write
• Add lyrics under the melody, syllable by syllable
• Play along at your own tempo, with tap tempo and a count-in

BRING YOUR OWN MUSIC IN
Upload your score and get chords instantly — no blurry photos, no guessing:
• Open MusicXML / .mxl files and get chords, key and bass
• Export from your notation app as MusicXML and open it here
Real notes in, real harmony out.

PLAY IN TUNE, PLAY IN TIME
• Chromatic tuner with modes for guitar, bass, ukulele, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, saxophone and flute
• Alternate guitar tunings: drop D, drop C, DADGAD, open G, open D, half step down, 7- and 8-string
• Metronome with time signatures, accents and subdivisions — beats, 8ths, triplets, 16ths

LEARN THE LANGUAGE OF MUSIC
• See functional harmony and roman-numeral degrees in action
• Think in degrees and function, not just chord letters
• Follow the score bar by bar while it plays — notation and harmony together
• A practical companion for music theory at every grade
