Stillness is a phone lock and focus app that helps you put your phone down and actually be present. Set a timer — five minutes or a full day — hold to begin, and your phone locks. No willpower, no negotiating with yourself. Once it starts, you're committed.

THREE WAYS TO DISCONNECT
◆ Full Lock — Your whole phone locks. Only emergency calls and incoming calls get through. The lock holds until the timer ends.

HOW STILLNESS USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Stillness uses Android's AccessibilityService to make focus sessions work. The service lets Stillness detect which app is currently in the foreground so it can enforce your lock — showing the lock screen when a session is active, redirecting away from apps you've chosen to block during Selective Lock, and resting an app that has used its daily time.
Stillness reads only the package name of the app currently in the foreground. It does not read, collect, log, or transmit your screen contents, the text you type, your keystrokes, or any personal information. The accessibility service is used solely to enforce the locks you set up, entirely on your device. Nothing is ever sent anywhere.
Daily Limits also uses Android's Usage Access to read how long an app was open today — counted by Android, read on your device, never sent anywhere.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Stillness collects zero data. No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no account. Everything stays on your device, and locking your phone never needs an internet connection. The permissions we ask for exist only to lock your phone. Nothing else.
