Shade Route

Shade Route helps you find more comfortable walking routes during hot and sunny weather.

Compare walking routes based on estimated shade, direct sun exposure, weather conditions and walking comfort. Shade Route can help you choose a route that reduces time spent in direct sunlight while keeping detours reasonable.

Features include:
• Shade-aware walking routes
• Estimated shade and sun exposure
• Route comparison and comfort scoring
• Place and address search
• Walking navigation
• Weather and environmental context
• Map-based route planning

Shade estimates are calculated using available map data, buildings, vegetation, sun position and environmental information. Actual shade and conditions may differ from the estimates shown in the app.
