Most marine apps assume you have signal. FishPin assumes you don't. Pins, trails, catches, gear, settings and emergency contacts are stored on your phone first, then backed up to the cloud when Wi-Fi is around, so a dead signal never costs you data.

Needing a connection: live weather and forecasts, AI fish identification, place search, downloading new map areas, cloud backup and your first sign-in. SOS sends by text message, so it needs a mobile signal but not data.
