WattBox: nabíjecí stanice

WattBox is a Czech app for electric car and e-bike drivers. It answers what you really care about when charging: where to go, how much it will cost, whether it is free and how long you will be there.

PRICE AND STATUS DIRECTLY ON THE MAP

Each station has a label on the map with power, price and status – free, occupied, out of service. The cheapest price on the map is green. Quick filters at the top will show only what you are looking for: Available now, My cards, Up to 10 CZK, Up to 22 kW, 50+ kW, 150+ kW.

HOW MUCH WILL YOU PAY FOR A FULL CHARGE

WattBox calculates how much it will cost you to charge your car at this specific station – with your charging card, connection fees and time and energy you will use on the way to the station. A cheaper station twenty kilometers away may be more expensive, and the app will tell you.

ROUTE HERE

One tap from the station details: route from where you are, with time, kilometers, charging stops and battery status at the destination. You can transfer navigation from the route card – with stops to Google Maps, without them to the navigation on your phone.

ROUTE PLANNER

You enter where you are from, where you are going and how much you have charged. The application will suggest where to stop, what percentage to charge, how long it will take and how much the whole trip will cost. It can also show waypoints and an e-bike route with elevation and chargers along the way.

GARAGE

You add a car from the catalog and the charging cards you have. From that moment on, the application calculates your battery, consumption and prices. Are you considering another car? Add it and see how much it would cost you compared to yours.

• Charging – how long and how much, for example from 20 to 80%
• Range – even in the cold
• Monthly costs versus gasoline or diesel
• TCO – total costs of an electric car versus a combustion car

STATIONS BY DRIVERS FOR DRIVERS

Are you standing at a station? Tell others if it works and is free, add a photo or review. You can only report the status at the station – we can tell by the location of the phone, but we do not send the coordinates anywhere.

WORKS EVEN WITHOUT SIGNAL

The catalog of charging stations in the Czech Republic is downloaded to your phone. Therefore, the list, distances and prices work even where there is no signal.

NO ACCOUNT NEEDED

The application works immediately after installation. You create an account – even via Apple, Google or Facebook – only if you want to have a garage, cards, favourite stations and saved routes on the wattbox.cz website or on another phone, monitor the price of the car or collect points for contributions.

ELECTRIC CARS AND ARTICLES

A catalogue of electric cars that can be bought today, with price, range even in winter and charging speed, rankings (cheapest, longest range, fastest charging...) and guides from Elektroblog.

WHAT THE APP CANNOT DO

• Occupancy is reported only by some networks – where we don't know it, we don't make anything up

• It can't start charging or pay – you need an app or operator card for that
• Prices are public price lists of operators, not amounts from your bill

PRIVACY

We do not use advertising identifiers and do not track you across applications. Usage measurement can be turned off in the Garage and turning it off also deletes what has already arrived.
