About ポポカ

This app makes it easy to summon "Popoca," the AI-powered on-demand bus operating in Kanuma City, anytime.
By selecting from numerous boarding locations (existing bus stops + virtual bus stops) within the desired service area, the AI ​​(artificial intelligence) will search in real time! It will guide you to the optimal route, boarding location, and available pick-up time.
Once your reservation is confirmed, you can board and alight the bus at the designated location.

【How to Use the App】
◆Register your user information in the app (first time only)

①Set the number of passengers
Set the number of passengers from the app screen.

②Set boarding location and destination
Set your desired boarding location and destination within the service area.
(*Turning on your mobile phone's GPS function will display boarding locations closer to your current location.)

③Confirm your reservation
The route from your nearest boarding location to your destination, along with estimated departure and arrival times, will be displayed.
Please check the information displayed in the app, and if it is correct, confirm your reservation.

④ Booking Confirmation Notification and Proceeding to the Pickup Location
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a notification with the departure time, arrival time, pickup location, destination, and vehicle information.
Please proceed to the pickup location displayed on the app's map by the departure time.

⑤ Boarding "Popoca"
When your "Popoca" arrives, please board after verifying your identity with the driver.
*The app's map will display the current location (approach) of the "Popoca," so you can ride with peace of mind.
*Even after boarding, the route and estimated arrival time will be displayed on the app, allowing you to check the operating status in real time.

⑥ Disembarking from "Popoca"
Upon arriving at your reserved destination, please pay the fare and disembark.
*Disembarking is not permitted at any destination other than the one specified during booking.
