About WebHookDeck: Watch Webhooks

Trigger the automations you rely on without reaching for your phone. WebHookDeck turns your Wear OS watch into a programmable webhook and HTTP trigger deck: configure actions on Android, sync your favorites, then run them from the watch app or a Wear OS Tile with clear confirmation and result feedback.

BUILD WEBHOOK BUTTONS ON ANDROID

Create actions for the services and APIs you already use. Configure:

• HTTP method, URL, headers and query parameters
• JSON or text request bodies
• Per-action timeouts
• Dynamic placeholders such as timestamps and UUIDs
• Secret values
• Optional HMAC-SHA256 request signing

Use ready-made templates for common automation platforms, or build actions for any HTTP endpoint you control.

RUN AUTOMATIONS FROM WEAR OS

Choose the actions you want on your wrist and sync them from your phone. On Wear OS you can:

• Browse and run synced webhook actions
• Keep frequently used actions as watch favorites
• Launch actions from the WebHookDeck Tile
• Use the watch-face complication for quick status and app access
• Confirm protected or destructive actions before they run
• See success or failure haptics, HTTP status, latency and readable errors
• View sanitized response previews and recent activity

Tile taps never silently execute protected actions. Confirmation requirements remain in place from the Tile and on retries.

WORKS WITH YOUR AUTOMATION STACK

Send requests to user-configured HTTP or HTTPS endpoints, including workflows and services built with:

• n8n
• Home Assistant
• GitHub Actions
• Jenkins
• Slack
• Discord
• Cloudflare Workers
• Azure DevOps
• Custom webhooks and HTTP APIs

CLEAR RESULTS, NOT BLIND TAPS

WebHookDeck reports HTTP status, request duration and readable errors for failures such as timeouts, DNS problems, SSL errors, authentication failures, rate limits and server errors. Response previews are bounded and sanitized before display or storage.

SECURITY BUILT FOR REAL WEBHOOKS

• Secret values are encrypted at rest with Android Keystore-backed encryption
• Sensitive headers, tokens and webhook paths are redacted from logs and previews
• HTTPS certificate validation cannot be disabled
• Sensitive headers are stripped when redirects change origin
• Exports exclude secrets unless you explicitly include them
• An emergency control can disable watch actions
• Android backup is disabled for WebHookDeck app data

Plain HTTP is supported for user-configured LAN and homelab endpoints. WebHookDeck warns when a connection is unencrypted and recommends HTTPS outside trusted local networks.

LOCAL-FIRST

No WebHookDeck account is required. There is no WebHookDeck cloud backend, developer-operated analytics or crash reporting.

Your action configuration and run history stay on your devices. Watch-enabled actions sync between your Android phone and paired Wear OS watch through the Wear OS Data Layer. Requests are sent directly to the endpoints you configure.

FREE AND LIFETIME PRO

Free includes:
• Up to 3 webhook actions
• 1 watch favorite
• Action testing
• Secure secret storage
• Phone-to-watch sync
• Confirmations and result feedback

Lifetime Pro is an optional one-time Google Play purchase that unlocks:
• Unlimited actions
• Unlimited watch favorites
• Import and export

Starting with version 1.3.0, optional rewarded ads let you unlock Pro features for 8 hours. Ads appear only when you choose them on the phone, never on the watch.

No subscription.

PHONE SETUP, WRIST EXECUTION

An Android phone is required to create, edit and sync actions. After syncing, the Wear OS app can trigger them independently from the watch.

Built for developers, DevOps engineers, homelab operators, smart-home users and automation power users who want deliberate access to their webhooks from Wear OS.

WebHookDeck is an independent utility and is not affiliated with or endorsed by n8n, Home Assistant, GitHub, Jenkins, Slack, Discord, Microsoft, Azure DevOps, Cloudflare, or any other third-party service.

What’s new

Version 1.3.2 · Updated September 25, 2026

• Optional rewarded ads on your phone unlock Pro for 8 hours after server verification. • Lifetime Pro is still available as a one-time purchase and is never affected by temporary Pro. • Redesigned phone deck with explicit Run buttons, inline results and quick actions. • Wear OS enforces temporary Pro expiry even offline and keeps every saved action. • More reliable phone–watch sync, plus trusted local HTTPS certificates for Run via phone actions.

This works great for triggering home automations! I like the level of detail that it shows. And it can use LTE directly on the watch, no phone needed.
